Welcome to Tony's Art
I'm Tony — a self-taught painter. I picked up a brush in the fall of 2025 and started teaching myself the only way I knew how: one numbered canvas at a time. There are seventy-some paintings now, and counting — houses, moons, and night skies, and every one of them is a lesson. They're not just practice, either: there's real emotion portrayed in each one, along with the fight between good and evil. This page is the whole climb, No. 1 to the latest, so you can watch the progress happen painting by painting. Sometimes the windows have eyes. Around here, that's just how the houses look at night.

Paintings — the run, No. 1 to the latest
start at No. 1 and watch me get betterThis is where you get to watch me evolve as a self-taught painter. Every painting from my archive is below, newest first: No. 74, the first commission, all the way back to No. 1 — the painting inspired by my youngest daughter's drawing. The numbers are the story: each one is a step in me learning how to do this, so work your way through the run and you can see the progress painting by painting. Look for the feelings as you go, too — happiness and sadness, comfort and fear, calm and anxiety, love and hate. They're all in there, and they shift from canvas to canvas: one painting sits quiet and safe, the next one is watching you back. I number my paintings as I paint them, and the number is how I tell them apart — and I title them when the time is right. So far only two have earned a title, the two headed to the gallery show: No. 57, “Abandoned Hüzün,” and No. 58, “Eyes Don't Lie.” I named those two, with help from my friends on TikTok. Every painting is numbered, dated and signed on the back, and comes with hanging hardware attached — ready to hang. Clicking any painting opens it up close — hit the link there to find the original TikTok post.
All paintings were posted to TikTok and Instagram, check the original post out and follow to watch my journey as I go.
Prints are available for every painting. The originals are available too — unless a painting is marked otherwise. Each painting below lists its size and canvas type next to its number, so you know exactly what you'd be getting.
That's the whole climb — so far.
Every painting photo from my archive is on this page now, in number order — the full record of me learning as I go. The run isn't finished, though — I finish new canvases most weeks, and each one will be added here as it lands, picking up right where the last one left off. For the day-to-day process (and the paintings between posts), TikTok and Instagram are still where it happens first.
The first gallery show
Opens Saturday, October 24, 2026 · Blue Whole Gallery, Sequim
Two of these paintings are in my first gallery show this fall, at Blue Whole Gallery, an artist co-op at 129 W Washington St in Sequim.
No. 57 is “Abandoned Hüzün” — hüzün is a Turkish word for a deep, wistful kind of melancholy, and one of my TikTok friends pointed me to it. No. 58 is “Eyes Don't Lie.” I number my paintings, and I title them when the time is right — for the rest, the number is still the name.
The pieces were dropped off at the gallery on October 17. Professional art delivery, as you can see, was handled by the passenger seat of my car.
Prints
This is No. 58 — the brick building with eyeball windows, purple clouds piled over a red sky, a crescent moon up top. The building was inspired by a place in Port Angeles. It became the first print I ever sold, in September 2026.
Prints are available for every painting on this page — and the originals are available too, unless a painting is marked otherwise. If one of these belongs on your wall, send me a message on TikTok (@dizzypits) or Instagram and we'll sort it out.

Commissions
your idea, painted my wayI took my first commission in October 2026 — someone else's memory, painted my way. It went well, and I'm taking more. If you've got an idea for one, reach out and tell me what you're thinking — and we can start planning our painting together.
Say hello
Message me on TikTok (@dizzypits) or Instagram with the idea — a photo of the place helps. A street, a view, a moon you remember.
Talk it through
We pick a size — I've worked from 10″ × 10″ up to 16″ × 20″ and beyond — and the details that have to be in it.
I paint it
Then it's time for me to get to work.
When we're ready to get started — or when your painting's done and it's time to settle up — you can pay me right here through PayPal — debit and credit cards work there too, and you enter the amount we agreed on.
About Tony
I'm a self-taught painter who recently moved to Port Angeles, Washington. No classes, no training — I picked up a brush in the fall of 2025 and taught myself by doing it, numbering every canvas and posting them as I went. By October 2026 the count had passed seventy, with new ones landing most days. The archive on this page is the record of that learning: start at No. 1 and you can watch me figure it out, painting by painting, all the way to the latest. Most of my painting process lives on TikTok, as @dizzypits — that's where I put the most effort.
My subjects are the neighborhood: houses with lit windows, barns, the water at night, moons in rings of red. My skies run purple, pink, and orange — turned up a few notches past real life, but not as far past as you'd think on a good evening out here. And underneath the color there's always emotion — fear, anxiety, happiness, comfort, sadness, sometimes more than one in the same sky — and good against evil: the lit windows and the warm houses on one side, whatever's watching from the dark on the other — something we can all relate to.
